FEDERICA ZOTTI

Federica Zotti - artist - Banquet Gallery

biography

Federica Zotti (Chiari, 1991) is an Italian visual artist who lives and works between Brescia and Milan. She trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.

Her practice develops through sculpture, video, and digital imagery, articulating research into the processes of codifying, representing, and internalizing sexuality. Her work investigates the power dynamics and the visual and linguistic devices through which desire is constructed, regulated, and consumed, bringing into tension imageries from digital, pornographic, and subcultural spheres with a physical and processual dimension.

Her work has been presented in exhibition contexts and festivals in Italy and abroad, including Amanda artist-run space (Genoa), Filmmaker Festival (Milan), REA! Fair (Milan), Finart – Festival Internacional de Artes Gráficas (São Paulo), Biennale de la jeune création contemporaine (Mulhouse), Photissima Festival (Turin), as well as independent spaces and editorial platforms.
